I also believe in most of the two tone will be the next to be hard to get. Already we are witnessing it for the TT Bluesy and TT GMT’s

With global economies softening, I only see the usual suspects. Depending on how bad it will get, even some of the current unicorns may become available.

I am sure it will be the TT Rose Gold GMT II. If you have not, you have to see it in person. It is mesmerizing!

[QUOTE=dimag333;10075286]Yachmaster (which auto corrects to ya hamster) in blue dial

Agree. It does everything a Sub can do, but with that beautiful platinum bezel.
(Not many are going down 300 meters, so the 100 meter YM is fine for me).

Despite rumours of prices softening, the Daytona 116500 is still super hard to get and grey prices are so close to the MRSP of the 116519 on OysterFlex, that people will likely move to this. That will increase change the mindset and increase pent up demand for the gold Daytona, and then grey prices will fly up.

Of course, I could just be speculating (totally guessing)!

A true one year (ish) run, that is a true 50th anniversary piece.

Was offered one out the blue last week at MRSP, so this feels unlikely.

An AD offered you a MK1 SD43?
Seems unlikely, but you should’ve grabbed it (if your style). From what I understand there are very many people, who are waitlisted, for a very long time to get this watch in any version.

Also I’m not sure as to why you believe it would be unlikely to be desirable. Is it because you were offered one?

Thanks for the heads up, I just ordered three from my AD. These are going to be my investment watches.

Haha true

Or the next one that Aurelio Baca talks about

I sometimes wonder if the Patek 5711a is so popular because of Aurel Baca saying that it is a perfect watch (or something along those lines)

None of them are hard to get, just hard to get from an AD at retail.

I think it will be the new all yellow gold sub with green bezel and dial, with new movement and thinner lugs on a gold jubilee bracelet

Then Rolex will really move up market

TT DJ41. They were at AD’s everywhere 6 months ago, and now getting harder to find, especially rose gold.

I snagged a lightly used Explorer II (black)
Nice to get a SS Pro model under retail and no tax; seems to be one of the few that can be had under retail
I doubt it will go crazy in price, but I enjoy wearing it

honestly i don’t think it really matters. either you’re into rolex and you must have the next overhyped piece (don’t get me wrong - i absolutely believe both the 116500LN and the 126710BLRO live up to the hype!), or you’re patient and you can wait as long as it takes to acquire that piece at retail.
