Is this a valid Datejust combination?

Hi there,

I'm a newbite and hoping those with experience can help me verify what is and is not a valid Datejust combination.

I am looking for a Datejust, 31mm, Steel and White Gold, Fluted, Roman, with a SILVER DIAL.

I've been presented this configuration as an option at an AD and have seen it for sale online, but I can't build it as a configuration on rolex.com; I only see a RHODIUM dial as an option.

Can anybody clarify why I'm seeing this discrepancy?

Thank you!

You’ve never been able to get romans on a silver dial....just rhodium which is more grey (darker than silver). Silver dials typically come with either sticks or diamonds.

I think the WG in OP's post is referring to the fluted bezel.

Exactly what I was looking for confirmation on. Thank you for clarifying.

So, do you think the ADs that I've spoken to (and online ads I've seen) who say that they can order (or advertise) a Silver dial with Roman hour markers really mean Rhodium?

So, I just learned that Rolex changes dial color combinations. Is this tracked anywhere?
I only see options currently available on rolex.com.

Does anybody know when Rolex stopped offering a silver dial with Roman hour markings on a SS Datejust 31 with Jubilee bracelet?

You can get Romans on a silver DJ31 but only with SS/YG and diamonds at VI...

However, my Wimbledon DJ41 wasn't on the configurator either when I tried it on at my AD, so sometimes the configurator is a bit behind!

My wife chose this DJ31 dial, but with scattered diamonds bezel...
