And will presumably have the date surround as well if so.

Correct and yes. White dial has always matched the lower image as have many PM versions.

That's pretty cool, I have looked at mine side by side and not noticed that in the past.

Guess i'll need another one.

Are they going to keep the reference as 5711/1a-010?

yes this was confirmed to UK AD's yesterday.

the dial will be slightly tweaked so that there is a dedicated blank plate for the two lines of text "Patek Philippe Geneve"

This plate is already on the 5771r

i think either of the options look good

How common of a practice is this for Patek in the past? Question for the long time collectors/experts. Very interesting tweak.

Thanks Russell. Great to know the slight tweak to the dial. What’s the major update your talking about?

I don’t care much about the Patek writing change, but the border around the date would be nice

Is there any specific reason that the white dial variant was different in the first place?

It came out later than the blue dial, as did the 5711/1R and 2 gen 5711P, so this is the new style, cleaner dial text and a date surround.

Interesting. Will they upgrade the clasp finally? The clasp on the ladies nautilus is sooooo much better.

I’m pumped for basel!
