No Lum 1803



This is my 1803 Day Date, circa 1962 per the serial #s.
I used to have it on a leather strap, but have it back on
the original jubilee now.

I notice that my hour/minute/second hands (all-gold)
and markers have no lum. (Pingparme's and Willygalardo's
(the white gold with English days) watches are similarly
without lum.)

Does anybody know more about this?

What you have is known as a doorstop dial and I've seen them with and without luminous plots.

Hi. You might want to check that case number, a 1962 DD will carry a SWISS only dial not a T SWISS T dial.
