Day Date 18238 clean
Hi there
I plan on cleaning my Rolex, this is a 18238 YG Day Date, I was thinking of mild soap along with water, a toothbrush is going to cause any scratches/damages? is it recommended to use a soft toothbrush or it ain't recommended at all?  Let me know, I do not want to damage him I like him a lot, its a classic I like to wear. |

A soft brush might put some swirl marks on the polished surfaces; nothing that can not be fixed with a polishing cloth (ie Cape Cod). A lot of people use Scrubbing Bubbles as an alternative with great results.

some warm water and soap will do the trick.

I use warm soap and water and a very soft paint brush, Works well. Good Luck

For those who are worried that a soft toothbrush might scratch your holy watch, you better check you gums, they might be bleeding.
