i am trying to compare weights to verify machine (need to weigh my food for diet) and i weighed by two tone sub on a scale that said 146 grams and it has one link missing

anyone know the correct weight with all links? what would one link weigh you think?

Hi Randy,

Good point!! I've weighed my TT Blue Sub with ALL original links on the bracelet and it came up as 150 grams exact!! So that means your one link would weigh in at 4 grams.

thanks...do you think one link weighs 4 grams? i dont have a scale that weighs that small, i almost bought one but it is for measuring food only and i didnt wanna blow that much money for that simple of a thing...

Yes, one link would weigh 4 grams. Remember, there's a bit of gold in it too.

The watch with all links definitely weighs in at 150. I should know.....I've done it!!

No!! It would also depend on the scale being used. Try the weight on different scales and check if they all come up with the same result.

my new two tone gmt is heavier, about 18 grams or more, those solid gold center links and the new bezel, etc

I've often thought that Rolex should be accurately weighed as a step towards testing for authenticity. I would suggest that few fakes would have the exact weight of the genuine models. An accurate set of lab scales would get weight to a factor of .25 of a gram.

Each Rolex would have a weight factor as each model has an accurate dimension factor.

Models should be weighed sans bracelet for accuracy.

My TT Blue Sub "F" Series with all the linkks weighs in at 148.4 Grams, 95.4 pennyweights, 4.77 Troy Ounces, & 5.23 ounces according to my precision Digital Scale. Any Thoughts ???

I can only relate with the weight in grams.....the rest is Greek to me!!

But the weight in grams seems pretty spot on!!

I was wondering if there are websites who mention the exact weight certain models should have.
Preferably watches without bracelet as to avoid the 'one taken out or not'.
