President watch back from RSC NYC

It's finally back and I think they did really good job. I think I can rock the watch too.

I still can't believe the Submariner 50th is worth more than this watch. Rolex said this watch is worth 32k, yet the Submariner 50th F-Series is worth 40k? Very strange.

I'd love an OQ Day Date. Very nice. What did the RSC have to do to it?

Yes, I am surprised how good it looks. I took off the diamond bezel which they sent back to me and replaced it with the fluted bezel. I guess I put it in my safe deposit box or something. Apparently, since it's a authentic Rolex diamond bezel, it's worth a lot of $$$

Their comments were:

l Bracelet worn
l Case scratched
l Bezel scratched
l Dial luminous material worn
l Crystal scratched
l Case dented
l Bezel dented
l Hands luminous material worn
l Crystal chipped
l Crown worn

They needed to do a full service overhaul, replace battery, crown and crystal.

This was from your dad or am I mistaken you for another member?

If so the final product came out great!

I listed it above. It looks like a completely different watch. I actually like it more than my submariner. Though, not sure I can get away with wearing this watch without causing attention even with the removed diamond bezel.

It's a Quartz watch.

It looks fantastic! Rock it and enjoy! Nice move getting the fluted bezel put back on.

Looks like they did a nice job. I personally think it looks a lot better now without the bling (I recall your original thread seeking advice on this).

I am a bit surprised that RSC was able to to put this new dial on the watch. I would have guessed you would be limited to dial options that include the "Oysterquartz" text on it. To other readers here -- were there ever any Oysterquartz models released that did not have "Oysterquartz" listed on the dial?

I don’t own a DD yet but soon hope I do. Congratulations. Looks great. It’s cool that it came from your dad.

Thank you, as do I. Other way too flashy. The dial they couldn't replace if I removed it. They still had the normal champagne, white and black, but if removed, I'd never be able to put back my Dad's dial since it was done in the 80s. So, at their recommendation, I kept the diamond dial my Dad purchased and had installed at Rolex NYC and just changed the bezel from the diamonds to a fluted bezel. The watch doesn't stick out as much, but in the summer is when the diamonds really shine. Lol.

Anyone know if I can switch out the metal band with a rubber one to bring down the noise on this watch?
