I think it's just another PM GMT, a bit more special cause of the dial. But it won't be that hard to get. I think Rolex is pushing their white gold inventory

I'm no expert but I would think that GMT shouldn't be too difficult to get because its a PM model.

I think it won`t be that difficult because its WG. The question is whether Rolex is going to make a lot of them or not. I see this piece as to be more limited in production piece like the Rainbow Daytona although you can find this GMT on the Rolex website and the Rainbow Daytona not..

Don't forget to post pictures!

It looks beautiful in pictures. Not sure if I can swing almost $40K for it, but if I can get an AD to discount it at least a little bit, I would pick one up.

Don’t like the meteorite dial, I rather have a plain white dial, which would make the perfect French watch ;) bleu blanc Rouge

I think it will be easier to get than it will be to read. That dial looks less legible than a Daytona.

Good point.

I guess it depends how available it is. Everyone might be buying the blue dial because it was discontinued and had a really short run?

I just made the comment because I’ve seen PM GMTs, Subs and Daytona’s just sit in the case for weeks. The SA told me those are difficult to sell.

I like MrPorter videos by the way!

Also probably because it’s harder to get the jubilee pepsi here. And of course since singapore is a small island.

Congrats, and should be very easy to get. Am waiting on the WG blue dial for the market to settle down in the next year or so, then arrange purchase with European AD for 15% discount, plus get VAT ~15% back too :)

I think it will be easy to get. Order it and get the call in 1 week.

I wish Meteorite was reserved for DD, DJ, Daytona...

If I had been picked up for Astronaut training, that would be the watch on my wrist.
Since I wasn’t, maybe the meteorite on a Day Date.

easy to get, probably.

I would have liked it with a plain white dial. meteorite dial not so much. I like it in wrist shots from 5 feet away a lot

If the piece speaks to you, get it. I'm just not a fan of the dial, looks cheap to me. Of course, seeing items such as this in person presents it in a different light. Good luck!

I like the meteorite dial. I had a Day-Date with a meteorite dial and it was both attractive and rewarding to own. I enjoyed the rarity and the history of the Gibeon meteorite.

In terms of the watch, overall, I feel like I do about the SkyDweller. The fact that they’ve ended up with very little distinction between the steel and gold models means I will never own one.

It's growing on me, a lot. But I am also someone who has always liked meteorite dials from Rolex -- I think the WG DD with meteorite that was released last year was my favorite "sleeper" announcement.

I don't think this will be hard to get if you communicate serious interest to your AD. However, I also don't think these will just be sitting in display cases either as they likely won't be making a ton of them. I doubt ADs will be getting these as a surprise in their deliveries -- seems more like a piece that gets shipped to an AD by request. For instance, any time I stop by my AD I have never seen a WG DD with meteorite dial just sitting in the case.

Its not something I would buy. I think it is a jewelery first and a watch second. I want it the other way around. That said, its a beautiful thing

Fantastic, I love it. The meteorite dial takes it out of the realm of the common and typically boring modern GMT.
