saw this online, somebody is showing off their collection. I'm just a little curious if this is legit or not.

owner said it was a 1986.

I think the real question to ask is why do yo CARE if its real or not anyways??

It's not a GMT II, it's an earlier GMT Master.
The dial is a replacement Luminova (Swiss)
Insert is pretty beat up and looks like paint rather than anodized.
Missing the very expensive to replace TT bracelet

Here's a real one, original and slightly newer..
