crazy or what??
I will present 2 watches .
One is a SS watch with an outdated "complication" which is of no use to anyone at all The second is a gold watch with a stunning automatic movement If you should ask 99% of watch collectors, I would hazard a guess and say the mojority would value no 2 way above no1 However as most of us here know no 1 ranks way above no2. Why?? Who knows They are both just a beautiful- similar case and similar face |

There is something about antique SS Pateks that make a Patek watch collector salivate, because they are not as common, except in the modern day sports watches.

Patek Philippe Amagnetic, Rolex Milgaus, IWC Ingenieur...who knew these otherwise ordinary watches would be so desireable? I think it has to do with the premium charged when new, the very specialized market niche for which it was created, and the relative limited production due to low demand/need.

There s an other factor in value ,i think exist much less PP SS vintage than precious metal
