Mont Blanc Starwalker `LEAKED

Like the tile says, the pen leaked all over my shirt :(
Mont blanc repaired the pen but didnt even give me couple of free inks or anything or a letter to say sorry
not what i expected from a £300 pen

Sorry to hear that! Did they say why it happened?

I know MB's can leak while in aircrafts due to the high altitude.

That's an unfortunate situation as it must have ruined your shirt.

Maybe Montblanc doesn't want to open the floodgates with claims by people for new shirts. Nevertheless I can understand it is pretty annoying.

I have found that when dealing with a sales clerk at any of their boutique they have an air of arrogance......you can buy a thousand dollar pen and they will not give you a bottle of ink($12.00 USD) for free!!!

Their Boutiques are usually frequented by tourist and travelers. If you have a pen shop in town, build a relationship. My guy give me nice things all the time. And 20% discounts minimum including MB's! He is a great guy and really like talking to him.

No affiliation.

Sorry to hear about the shirt, but it goes with the turf. You will probably have another one or two ruined in your lifetime.

Shirtless in Palm Beach

Same thing happened to me, they fixed the pen and I pushed for a new $100-
shirt and came up short standing in my briefs................

Leo, I have to respectfully disagree with you on this one.....or maybe it's just my experience/dealer.

When I got my Carbon/Steel Solitaire FP from the MB store in my local mall, not only did the rep give me a great discount, but I got an extra converter, AND since we were talking watches a really nice hardcover product book on their watch line. When I got my Meisterstuck BP, (unfortunately the original rep no longer worked at that store) the discount wasn't as great, but at least the other rep threw in 2 refills.

Justin, I'm glad you had a good experience at their stores. So, possibly, I must of gotten a sales rep on a bad day.....
