We need the SN to accurately date the watch, based on the dial and hand style I'd say 50's/early 60's

is it just me, or is it unusual for a '61(?) Oyster to have a plastic inner ring and a press fit case back ???

That's extremely strange, is that caseback really snap fit? I can't tell from the pic,
But the plastic shouldn't be in there

That plastic retaining ring is perplexing.

I s the case back clip in scerew in, because the markings on the case back suggest an

Is the case back a clip on or a screw on. The markings suggest it is an oyster style and should be a a screw in to make it water proof.

Dial is definitely redone

I magnified the picture and it looks like a clip on, but its hard to tell. But its that plastic that puzzles me.

Lug holes on one side is typical of early manual wind oysters

I have lug holes on the off-crown side only on my 1952. That plastic/rubber "shock resistant inner ring" does indeed look questionable and the dial looks tampered with. How much are they asking? If they cant provide pictures between the lugs I'd stay away (probably would anyway).
