First Macro Shot - 16753

Hey all,
I have been interested in doing macro for a while, finally got a reverse adapter for my lens. This shot was from my first test-run. This is my '79 16753 nipple dial. Would love some tips from those with more experience, as lighting is tough, and composition is tricky.

setup:T2i tethered to laptop with a ifs 15-85mm lens flipped.

be well,

av

took so long to focus, set up, and continually wait for second hand to move out of the way, i ran out of battery. It was a lot of fun, gonna shoot some more tomorrow.

Very cool. There is lot of detail you can't see with the naked eye. Its nice to get some great shots so close in. Thanks!

These are great! I've been interested in doing some of these close up shots too. There's so much craftsmanship and quality in the littlest details.
