AD texted me today....

Air King is mine if I want it. I’m headed in tomorrow to pick it up. I know it’s not universally loved but I really dig the quirkiness and that it’s not the same as every sub, Daytona etc. Plus I’m a sucker for pilot watches and love the fact that Rolex still makes one (at least for now).

Anyway, seems like a lot of us are having AD luck in the new year, hopefully a sign of things to come!

Nice choice. Not that I'm bias but it was my first Rolex. It's different and that's what I like about it. It wears well with good weight balance. It's 152 grams so you know your wearing A watch....

I’ve given this watch a lot of criticism and I think wrongly so. It’s really cool and different. Congrats on the new watch!

Congratulations in advance! As another poster has already mentioned, there is no need to justify the purchase. You bought the watch because you like the watch and that is what matters. Do wear it proudly

the most original and modern dial design Rolex makes in my opinion. Congratulations.
Show it to us ASAP.

It wasn't on my radar until I saw the actual watch in AD. Decided and bought it in 2018 and was get able to get small discount. It was not the sought after model else don't think any discount will be given. The story is different now..
