Stainless Bracelets/clasps - Thickness

First time post. Hello.

Looking at a Steel 2006 GMT 2 in a second-hand shop earlier today in Lille, France. The Oyster folding clasp on this watch appears wafer thin compared to my Datejust (2019). Indeed the entire bracelet feels 'sloppy'. Without my micrometer I can't tell you the thickness I'm afraid but it feels more like a $30 Rolex from Turkey than a 11,500 Euro Rolex that this purports to be. Since I have never handled or mark-one eyballed a 'genuine' GMT 2 of that vintage or indeed any vintage, I have no idea if the bracelet is at least genuine. If it is genuine and is the same thickness of today's model, I would be disappointed.

Could someone please provide the (accurate) thickness of the folding SS clasp.

cheers,
Jim
