If you find yourself losing sleep over the case then maybe take action and friends here have given you great advice. If it were me, the soft case wouldn’t bother me unless I felt it compromised the look of the watch. If it was shaved down to thin little lugs, that’s a different story. But it seems your edges are rounded and a little chamfered. I personally wouldn’t be bothered and next service you see if Rolex can remedy it. GOODLUCK and beautiful GMT!

Depends what bothers you as others have said in the post. Some say they don’t find it that bad from looking at the pictures and me.. for a polish, I thinks its fine, however not the most amazing I’ve seen.

Of course, he shouldn’t settle or compromise, however, I do think if you are of the view point of wanting it to be like original then don’t have it polished.

When they polish material is removed, what can you expect. Its like the crown definition on the clasp of 5 digits- you can expect it to be amazing forever and like new if you keep sending it in for polishing!

If it bothers the OP, then get it sent back!

I've seen worse at a local AD, but that is polished far too much. I wouldn't buy it and would go as far as to say I'd prefer scuffs on an unpolished, sharp-edged watch.

I had my 14060m polished twice by RSC and it still didn't look rounded like that. Someone might of gone a bit nuts on that polishing wheel...

Correct choice if you are unhappy. Hope you get sorted out and be sure to give us a picture!

may be it got deeper scratches that would require more polishing.

I think that’s a good choice. Here’s a picture of an unpolished edge.
