Just received my Submariner bracelet back from MY, was in need of some repairs from years of wear. I purchased the watch new in 1986 and passed it on to my son for his high school graduation in 2011, it was starting to worry me with all the stretch so I decided to send it off to MY, the results are amazing. Sorry for the lousy pics.

I’m sure it is. It came like that before it was changed to the current style where even the clasp was 2-tone. Can’t remember when it was changed though.

RSC don’t repair bracelets. They will replace with a new one.

That is an original clasp. My old Sub is the same.

While the repairs look excellent I’m not sure how I feel about having them done. There was a lot of history to that watch that has now been erased. If it were my dads watch from new outside of a service and light cleaning I’d have probably left it alone.

Yes, original clasp. Took about 6-7 weeks, $574 including shipping, the gold links were worn really bad and that is were the extra cost comes in, good for another 32 years.

I agree to a certain extent. He only had the bracelet refurbished. Which is a must imo. These bracelet's get so worn they can fail at any moment. The bigger lose would be a missing watch then some worn out links.
