Frustrating

Sorry to vent, but it was a frustrating day for me.

I ordered a Mario Paci strap for my Pam 90 and Amazon's website showed that it had been delivered today. Alas, when I got home there was no package. Amazon says that I need to wait a few days to see if it turns up.

Nothing like having your hopes dashed. Would have been my first new strap too.

At least the watch is still sitting hear nice and safe.

Most of those on Amazon are sold by TC Straps. They're real quick with their shipping, so I would hope you'd get it tomorrow. Speaking of venting, I have a Wotancraft 74 sitting in US customs since Monday. I feel your pain man.

I frequently have similar issues when Amazon uses a courier service rather than UPS/Fedex/USPS to deliver. The tracking shows as delivered, but it never shows up until the next day.

I've been in touch with Amazon, Elliott from TC Straps, and the USPS. As per what other users are saying, Elliott is quick with email and has been a professional so far.

The USPS thinks that it was an incorrect scan and that it should come today. If not, I'm supposed to call a supervisor tomorrow.

Here's hoping.

Buy directly from the strapmakers and use reg. airmail (if from outside the country).Effective and inexpensive.

Well my situation is finally over. Everyone was right, Elliot was great to work with. After I reached a dead end with the USPS he sent another strap and told me that he would work with the USPS. Ironically as soon as the 2nd strap arrived my neighbor, who had been out of town for 2 weeks (and also lives several doors down), showed up on my doorstep with my original package...

For full disclosure, working with the USPS was like beating my head against a wall and working with Amazon was pretty much useless. So I was very glad that Elliot worked with me.

So now I get to play with my new strap. Quite excited. :)

In the future, just go to TC straps web site and buy from Elliot. They are the distributor for MP straps in the US.
