I would normally say keep the sub, but it sounds like in your case having some diversity would be a good thing, either way, both of those wouldn't be that hard to replace. Good luck.

Of the two however, my favourite is the Sub, and this gets most wrist time so if I could only have one, I’d be inclined to keep this.

That being said, there are more similarities between the Sub and the GMT than there are with the Explorer and part of the reason I like the Explorer is the comfort and different wearing experience it gives on the wrist. So if you’re looking for variety in the collection, perhaps keeping the Explorer would be better.

If the Sub were no date I think there’d be more of an argument to keep the Sub, but I might need to break the rule of 1 in 1 out on this occasion!

EXACTLY what he said!

Sub and GMT are similar looking watches based on size, rotating bezel.
However, Pepsi on jubile has a different feel, mainly due to the bracelet.

I personally like to have a smaller watch and the 36mm Explorer is perfect for those days. So, I am in the Pepsi and Explorer camp on this one.

First off all 3 is the right answer

But that’s not always practical

Sub will get more $$$ on the sale.

Sub is the watch I would keep.

Although I could make the case to sell the sub for more money and have the diversity of the Explorer.

The glide lock clasp on the Sub would tip the scales in favor of the Sub for me.

Sub would be easier to let-go as it overlaps most with the GMT.

Where are you getting a BLRO from? This is one of the most desirable watches in the market right now. If you are on a waiting list at an AD I would believe it might be some time before you see one, if ever. If you are going secondary market then the current selling price is around 20k so it would take both of your watches in a trade and some cash from you get to the the BLRO. If money is not the issue then keep what you have, buy the BLRO, wear all three for a while and then decide. A self imposed two watch collection is limiting in a negative way for me but to each their own.
