If you plan to have only one PM timepiece, Day-Date would be the one to go for.

If you plan to have more later, get the one that your AD offer to you first.

For me, it depends on lifestyle and are you partial to a style of watch.
If you are a boardroom type, dressing up for white table cloth dining, etc then the DD. If you are more casual, beach on the weekend, outdoor dining on a deck, the Sub. They're all spectacular in their own right.
