Delighted to hear of your decision. Your next problem is will be if you make the mistake of trying on its partner, the 5172.

In my opinion, the pair sum up all there is in the Patek thoroughbred corral. A two horse race with not a nose between them.

Still looking forward the the horse/watch images!

Oh Pardner Partekular, you know how to hit a weak man on the head after his horse has dropped him off the saddle.

Don't think i have not thought about 5172 :)
or 5270P

for the next few months i want to give each of my newly acquired beauties 3 - 4 weeks each. I still have my eyes on a 5396.

Welcome to 5320G team ^^
For the investment I think there is no dress watch that easily sold (5327,5320, 5159...). Forget about it then enjoy wearing, that's all

The 5270P is a tempting piece - unless - one notices it’s a manual winder which for a perpetual calendar watch means one cannot park it in a winder and go away on holiday without returning to a full calendar reset. Fun for some but sadly not an inviting prospect for me.

Totally agreed Dr.MinhPham, sir.

Out of the shop, day 1, i prepare myself for 40% loss from the retail; and 50% after first month. If i use them, then great.

Can you please tell me about your strap on the 5320G? Looks good.

I just order a handmade strap from local store not PP. Blue color dảrk matte or shiny will fit well and makes 5320 into different watch. You can try grey but blue is the killer

I found that even Patek does not allow to modify watch but strap changing make their watch to another lever of joy:))

Once I paid, I considered it a 100% loss since I never planned to sell any of my pieces

But congrats on the 5320G. I am wearing mine today. And is contemplating on the 5172 now.

The 5172 and FPJ Linesport double split are my top contenders now. I know it is Apple and orange….

Rest of my family found the FPJ to be too “different” but I find it to be very good value for a double split

Quite so. Watches are consumables and my children may or may not get a few bob for them. Financial Investments they are not!
