New Member First Rolex Shopping

Hey Folks,

New Member here, I'm Anthony from Ohio, anyway been looking to get a Rolex here for some time. Recently had a set of twin girls (god help me) so figured Fathers day is as good of an excuse as any!

I found a person near me looking to sell his to get into something new. He's willing to meet at a local jeweler of my choosing as well so not really worried about it being a fake. Also comes with Original box and paperwork hes asking $5,800 for it what do you guys think?

"Men’s 36mm Rolex Oyster Perpetual with black face and diamond numbers. This comes with the 18k gold jubilee bracelet. Works perfect.

No service history with watch but I’d be happy to meet at a Rolex dealer to confirm it is legit and working as it should. Previous owner bought it in Zurich in 1985 and I have that documentation."

Hi Anthony,

Welcome to TRF.

I would pass just on the shot bracelet and no service history.

There are plenty of old DJ’s available in excellent condition.

Welcome to the forum Anthony … you’ve certainly got your hands full with twin girls. Wait till they discover shoes

If there is "no service history" you need to make the assumption that it has never received service.
And the bracelet looks(?) as if it has received some major wear? Need better pics.
Overpriced from what is shown.
