Does Seiko make a decent GMT?

So I found the Seiko Prospex SUN019, but at those specs, it's way too big. What other GMT options are out there by Seiko in say the ~$500 USD range?

I am not versed enough in Seiko models to know if they offer a GMT in that price range.

BUT...you could always grab an SKX and put a GMT bezel insert on?

Not without a 24 hour hand. A 12 hour bezel, while not a true GMT, will allow for a second times zone. I have that option on many Seiko mods as well as other timepieces.

Yes, duh, sorry...that was silly of me. Thank you, Dan.

OP, I know I've seen the 12 hour bezels from dlwwatches.com and lcbistore.com if you care to look. I'm sure there are tons of other places that sell them, but I don't know any more!

Thanks guys. Yeah I was hoping there was a secret one with a 24 hand that was hiding from me on the internet. The hunt continues, I've looked at some from the astron and cultura lines, but those are more dual time. oh well

there are some decent 'world time' in that price range. Dial with 25 cities to show you the different time zones.

They make a few quartz/solar GMT pieces in that price range, but no mechanical. It's all personal preference, but I like the look of the SUN065. They also make some Kinetic GMTs with the 5M65 (there's a good looking Sportura model out there).

Check out the SBDW011 Flightmaster. It’s kinetic, so if mechanical is a requirement then it obviously will not fit the bill, but it’s a cool watch.

I was looking for the same and ran across the SUN025P1. Big 44 mm GMT, white dial, kinetic movement. I found it to be gorgeous. No longer made, can find them online with some work.

I had the SUN 019 and I found it too big for my 6.5 inch wrist. I gave it to my brother.

Not a kinetic fan. Another poster pointed out that I could charge it on my Sonicare toothbrush charger, which helped. Before that it conked out a lot.

Pretty Grand Seiko GMTs exist in a much higher price point.
