REVIEW - Patek Philippe Aquanaut 5167A

Hey guys and gals,

I managed to take a closer look over one of my personal favourite watches from Patek Philippe.
If you enjoy macro, be sure to check this one out, I've finally learnt to pan at a macro level, and you can never have too much of it:

If you don't like video, that’s cool, here's a summary:
- Dimensions of 40mm x 8.3mm.
- Lug to lug of 46.6mm means that this watch will sit well on just about anyone's wrist.
- Price is $18.9k USD, however the waiting lists put most Rolex watches to shame, and the watch fetches well +70% over retail.
- Features a simple date and time, that sits amongst a dial that is not so simple.
- The grey embossed spherical pattern dial is stunning up close. Some love it, some don't.
- On the wrist comfort is amazing, with that lug to lug, light rubber strap and case dimensions all coming together to provide an incredible watch in terms of wearability.
- Details and finishing are near perfect, with one very feint blemish found on the minute hand.
- 302 SC Movement, that beats away at 28,800vph and offers 35-45hrs power reserve. I've found accuracy to be just over 1 second a day fast.

Great watch overall, worth it at retail price? YES! Used prices? I'm not so sure.
Enjoy, and I hope that you have a great weekend

Absolutely superlative video work.

Those macros are beyond superb. Thank you for posting. The perfection in the up close shots is incredible.
