16660 or 116600, which one to keep?
I have love in each and the 116600 is fullest while the 16660 is watch only.
Any input? Last edited by EdwardC; 16 July 2018 at 04:48 AM.. Reason: wrong URLs |

100% keep both in this scenario, no way I could let either one of those beauties go.

Keep both if you can. If not I'd keep the 116600

I have a 126600 coming and I don't really want to keep 3 sea dwellers. So I think one must go.

Both. Getting rid of one would be impossible for me if I owned this pair.

That 16660 is a beauty! It’s harder to find a good 16660 again than a 116600? So i’ll keep the old an get the 126600. But all 3 would be perfect.

Oh my God, those two are amazing!
I recommend you wait and see how the 42mm seabeast ...fits. :) |

Keep both, the good old days of easy accessibility to these watches are gone, once you let it go you will have a harder time and it'll cost more to get it back or basically good luck see it again.

I never thought I'd choose a 5 over a 6 but in your case I would. That's probably my favorite 5 digit piece to have.

The 16660 has developed some light spider cracks too so I think it's getting more character over time. The 116600 is definitely more modern when looking at it and also does feel more solid.

As an investment, keep the older one. For a daily wear I'd keep the newer model. My preference is for watches withOUT patina, so the ceramic model is right in my wheelhouse.

I'm a big fan of the SD4K. Actually, I just bought one, and going to collect it in 2 weeks. For me, the last true Sea Dweller, 40mm and no cyclops, with a great new bracelet and ceramic bezel. Just perfect.
On the other hand, your 16660 aged beautifully. Developed a nice patina, and spider cracks. I believe it tells more of your life with it. Try the 126600 first, maybe you won't like the size. That's why I sold mine and bought 116600. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Really tough choice. I’d keep them both if I could. They are both great watches.

Difficult one.... Normally I'ld say keep the modern one, 116600. But since you're getting an even more modern one, the 126600, maybe loose the SD4K?
Neh... Loose the 5 digit and keep the two new ones!

Based on pics, I would keep the 2 you have and move the 126600 along. Just not seeing harmonious balance for your wrist with even thicker and 43mm.

There's a reason I had to get the 126600 that is not my preference, which bothers me but I can't complain on getting that watch. If that didn't happen I would have kept the two I have now.

16660 or 116600, which one to keep?

Yes! 5>6 in this case. Wonderful creamy patina. Wow. However, as others have said.... keep both if you can. I miss my SD 4000 a little but I won’t add it back. Don’t miss it that much. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sell the 5-digit model to fund the purchase of a SD43 if you like the current model.
You have a nice problem to have. |

Why don't you wait till you have the SD43 before deciding?
Personally I think the SD43 might look to large on your wrist, and therefore keep what you have. Between the two, I would probably keep the 116600. If it was a 1665, it would be another story. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk |

You will regret letting the triple 6 go. That is a keeper for sure.

Out of those three I would boot the 126600 in an instant.
