Yes I would agree the T/T Sub Blue Sunburst Dial is the best Rolex T/T I had this Watch up to a short time ago. I now have a T/T Daytona 116503 (New Model) White MOP 8 Diamonds Dial. I really don’t know why I purchased this Watch but I do love it even though I think the Blue Sunburst is the best Rolex T/T

Was never a TT fan until I put this Daytona on my wrist and it spoke to me I’ve done several steel sports Rolex but was getting a little bored so I wanted something different and this fit the bill to a tee.

Yes I agree, the minute I saw this Daytona I knew I had to have it. It really is special, when the sun catches the MOP Dial it looks so beautiful. But having owned the T/T Sub Blue Sunburst Dial I would rate it the best T/T Rolex

I have a 116613LB and think it’s a stunner, but in terms of the best looking TT, I think the Yachtmaster II TT is a show stopper.

Bluesey

It’s been on my wrist this past week in rotation (it’s the sunburst LB, even though looks flat dial in this pic). Vs my wife’s main watch, Wimbledon dial DJ41

Both in my opinion brilliant TT watches

The most beautiful TT is the Sub Date LB. Between your Daytona TT options, i'd go for YG with champagne or black dial.

I’ve always liked the GMT II in TT, maybe the CHNR is the best of them but I have only seen the YG version.

I like my TT DJ2 with Ivory dial, but probably the nicest TT right now is the new CHNR.

My favorites are the dj wit any color dial and the Daytona with black or champagne dial.

New Rootbeer changed the game. I recently saw one in the flesh and was blown away by the RG center links and the brown/black ceramic bezel. What a stunning piece. I hope to own one someday.

Truer words never spoken. I amended my reply to give credit to Frank for his statement and insight. Sorry Frank. I just learned how to do this.

I don't know if it's the "best" but I always thought the classic TT Rolex was the DJ with a Jubilee bracelet. I thought so when I bought mine nearly 30 years ago and I think the same today. What I don't care for is the TT Oyster bracelet. About 20 years ago, I was on the hunt for a TT Sub until I actually saw it in person. When I compared it to the SS Sub, there was no doubt in my mind that the only TT Rolex I would own was my DJ.

For the Sub and GMT, if I wanted any PM in the watch, it would have to be solid gold.

Of those two, definitely the TT Blue Sub. I had one and it’s a beautiful watch, but it just didn’t speak to me. Went to pick up the CHNR a few weeks back and ended up walking out with the TT RG Yacht-Master with the black face instead. To me it’s the best looking TT of the bunch.

I think the GMT is the best looking TT Rolex. Of the two you mentioned, I'ld go for the Sub though.
