Submariner with Everest

Added a green Everest to my sub and it is so much more comfortable! Was wondering if an everest strap on a submariner could ever be worn dressy with a suit?

I think black would look ok with a suit as a dress watch, but not green...

Maybe it's the green. I prefer the bracelet though.

My friend, I’m afraid that the only suit that that combination will work with is a bathing suit!

Looks good on the rubber strap but for a suit, I would put it back on the bracelet.

Your watch. Your choice. It wouldn't be mine, but enjoy. Life's too short.

Looks great! Wear it wherever and whenever you would like. Dress codes went out when the Kardashian's came in.

Submariner with Everest

I prefer black everest.. Its like there is a seamless connection between the black dial and the black rubber.

For suit i prefer the oyster bracelet.

I was thinking of a red one. I actually think all of the bright colors are cool for changing it up for summer.

That will look awful in a suit. That combination is for the beach on a Summer day, preferably with something matching that green.

If you had gone with a black strap it would have been much more versatile but even then the Oyster bracelet is king.

Your watch, enjoy it your way but not my cup of tea.

Ok that’s what I thought too, just confirming. Will use the green strap for summer and dress up another watch!

I agree. I suspect most aftermarket strap wearers also agree.

However, I think they also look fantastic on Rubber, and having two options is better than one IMO.

Only if it's a leather Everest strap. You can get away with black rubber just because folks aren't likely to notice, but in general "rubber strap" and "dressy" rarely go together.
