I've been looking for an Aquanaut and thought I'd try the Tiffany & Co. boutique at the flagship store in NYC. I was told that the waiting list has approximately 60 names on it and that they get approximately 4 per year (true?). They would not take any names on the waitlist. I just thought I'd offer a tip to the forum- Tiffany & Co. will not sell you an Aquanaut or a Nautilus. Not shocking but wanted to provide an update in case anyone was considering attempting.

Yup. My local Tiffany said the same. List is closed. Doesn't matter how much you've spent in the past.

Curious - how did you go about acquiring your 5167A then? My sales associate at Tiffany in SF says he's "checking the list," though now I suspect what the answer will be.

Bought from the AD a few blocks away (and the watch was sitting in the display case, believe it or not). But that was a year ago. The market has changed quite a bit since then.

I have one, and have it on good authority that the list is well in excess of 60. Throw your name down, never know what will come of it.

Or you pay the markup on the secondary market... Crazy that the market price is $46.5k for a watch that retails for $20k without the Tiffany & Co. stamp...

To be honest I wouldn't even want the Tiffany branding on one of my PP, for me they make women's jewelry and I don't care how long their relationship with Patek has been for, if I want to make some cash maybe, but on a watch I just want to wear no thanks...

I generally find their prices to be well over market. I have no idea who buys from them but apparently someone is.
