Datejust 16234 36mm vs Oyster Perpertual 36

Would you sell the Datejust 16234 36mm steel and fluted white gold bezel for a new 36mm Perpertual Oyster?

Have you tried on the op and like that one more? They're both great watches, you do lose a little bit of the dressiness of the DJ fluted bezel and jubilee, but you gain a little more everyday casual wearability with the op.

No, I prefer a watch with a date. Plus, I think a 36mm watch looks better on jubilee.

I wouldnt. What you have is classic. Newer isn't better in this case.

The datejust 36 WG on jubilee is the most classic Rolex in existence. While the OP will also never go out of style, your datejust is basically a 100% guaranteed timeless. With that being said... I would get the white OP

Not a chance...I have the exact watch pictured in the first post. While I like the OP lineup in some dial colors, it’s not as appealing visually to me as the DJ

Not sure if it’s an option for you, but if you could keep your DJ and save for an OP that’s what I would do. You already have a great black dial watch, adding a white OP down the road would be a nice one two punch. Not sure if your wrist can handle a smaller watch, but don’t discount the 34mm. I have a 6.75” wrist and wear the 34mm OP Snowman. Personally, I think it wears more like a 36mm than a 34mm.

Yeah, me too. If the watch in question is the Datejust shown in the OP's photo, then no, I would not sell that watch.

Not enough difference in the watches presented. I would stay with the DJ and then save up for the white dial OP as suggested.
