If your plan involved “flipping” the BLNR, why did you buy ?

Massive decision
Is there a point to this?
Personally - I don’t buy watches to sell...so that’s my .02 - keep them Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Are you buying to wear or to make a quick buck? Simple as that.

Did you even want a blnr or were you just on the list to sell for profit?
I have both and I find the blnr a little more special. Even though they look very close they wear very differently and I wouldn’t want to be left with just one. If your intentions were to flip then sell the blnr as you will make the most profit. Or keep both for a while and see which you like better and sell one if you have to. No one can make the decision for you.

So your massive decision is to either take advantage of watch enthusiasts by flipping a high demand piece you never intended on keeping or wearing a new BLNR, my vote is for the latter.

Keep both.
Unless you need money, then sell Sub 116610LN due to fact its common. Keep the GMT BLNR due to fact it might discontinue and not a standard part of Rolex lineup as regular GMT is 116710LN. You SHOULD always buy what you want to keep. Not BUY to SELL :) At the end of the day, its your choice and call. Do whats best for you, your situation. Cheers

I’m sure not going to criticise. I’ve flipped enough watches but only after I’ve bought and realised they weren’t for me having got involved with the hype.
Assuming you like them both. Wear for a while and decide. Both work well together. Else, you can flip either for not much (if any loss) and move on. Take your time. Both great watches (I’m growing more partial to the BLNR as tome goes on). |

I see a massive decision as one being life altering, not one over a watch. Get what you want and keep what you want.

I’d flip the Sub for a ND. Then I’d keep that ND forever!

High probability both references next year will become extinct. Keep em both unless life of yours is at stake.

Keep both, unless you need the money. In which case, since I love both, it would have to be a 'flip a coin' situation for me to decide which one to let go of... Good luck!

give us your reasons and I'll give you my answers. Otherwise, I'd have to say generally speaking, keep all watches if thats an option.

How about option 4. Sell both. Get something you really want. You don't seem too attached to either one.
