I am absolutely gobsmacked. Probably the single most classy watch I have ever laid eyes on. you personally pull it off in such a superb way! One of the best wrist shots I have seen. Enjoy it !

So you're not a fan of the 5711?

Why come here and say such a thing?

An entry level Patek pretty much sh1ts on everything PM Rolex downwards certainly in terms of horology and also class, in my view. I’m sure most people in this side of the forum have both however

Got mine a few days ago too. Rose gold version. Totally lovely. Ordered a black strap to go with it.

The WG wasn't for me. Saw it again. The dial is very reflective. To me it looks so much classier in rose with the whiteish dial.

That is simply stunning, I have one on order for next year and you have just confirmed what a great choice.

Huge congrats!

Not that anyone asked me but I believe there are a lot of PP fans who are not fans of the 5711 (or at least don’t understand the big fuzz around it).

Cheers :)

Love the 6119, so classy - congrats on the purchase!!

Anyone with a 6119 and a 5167 who can give me an idea of how they wear relative to each other in size?

They really aren’t that far off one another. Basically the exact same height and just a tad off in diameter. You can tell the 6119 is smaller but it’s not noticeable once you wear it for a few minutes.

Because it's supposed to be a PP 'discussion' forum and not the PP circle jerk off most of it appears to be..?

Also heard from local dealer 6119 is an allocation piece ... Interest is probably pretty high for these, these days..?

I have a 6.5 inch wrist and that’s how it sets on mine. It’s truly a beautiful piece! 3B2CE47B-58FC-4300-AE99-21B3B1339112.jpeg

Well, my AD always had both variants in the shop window whenever I walked by. Last time 4 weeks ago and I cannot imagine that they are not available for pick up. Haven't asked as I am not interested.

That is nonsense from WOS. I got mine almost immediately. Ok so I have a good relationship with my AD so discount that if you want. But a friend of mine picked up one from another AD with a two month wait and its his first Patek.

Yeah WoS is really a work of art nowadays. Any god damn watch that someone wants is instantly waitlisted rather than helping a customer get the watch.

Watches of Switzerland has become awful. If you show interest in any piece that’s not there, it’s automatically a piece you have to buy something else to get.

The 6119 is not an allocation piece. I have seen some at a couple of AD’s. One was on display at my AD for a couple of weeks.

nice watch, but for simple manual wound and price more expensive than a Rolex GMT...with uncertain resale value. Its expensive for someone striving to get a Rolex. Maybe created for someone that own a Nautilus and want to have a pair.

2 Months is good going, I think everyone is taking the plunge with this piece in hope for a sports but the problem is I don't see WOS being able to supply current and new customers in any manageable time
