Of course, it's just a fun thread where we can highlight respect for other members. The true answer to the question should be, "About what?" as we all have some insight about the multitude of subjects discussed in the open forum.

Apparently you're not permitted to have a lot of nice stuff and boast about it. It upsets some people (perhaps because they have less nice stuff).

I always thought it was the American way....to freely advertise one's success.
No, that's not it all all.

There’s certainly less tall poppy syndrome here than you may find in, e.g., Australia or the UK, but that wasn’t really it. That member was using the money he married into as a basis for demeaning and belittling others. If all he did was brag, then he’d still be among us.

I’ve never seen more wrong answers or misguided rationale in my life. None of these names except for Keith knows more about Rolex investments.

Rolex “investors” should realize that they may experience losses, up to and including full loss of principal. People will speculate on anything these days.

Keith says ‘false!’

Rolexeseses only go up. Never down.

This is why Keith is #1 here.

Sorry brother. Just an oversight here.

We three I think round out this honor quite well.

I thought about the question for a second, then realized I usually just read the posts without bothering to look at who wrote it.

So short answer...I have no idea.

Realistically Haywood Milton, Mike Wood, Marcello Pisani (God Bless his soul, RIP), Erpin, Jacek and a few other collectors who own the bulk of the rarest models in existence would be my votes for the most knowledgeable. While alot of the members mentioned have accumulated excellent amounts of knowledge from vintage ephemera, reading through forums etc. Seems a shame to discount the people who have been collecting since the MOD was selling milsubs out of a choice out tray @ $50 ea/ have estimated multi million $$$ collections and are the ones who are sourcing the rarest pieces for collectors across the globe.

They would be the ones I went to if I truely wanted knowledge about a particular piece. Granted they had the time to share their knowledge. They certainly don't post as much as they used too.

See the issue with you knowing you know the least is that you know “that” so you know more than someone who doesn’t know “that”. LOL
