if the rolex gave me a complete report of that watch and the serial number, I could confront the seller / watchmaker, and resolves in justice. however, if I take it in the rolex, they will confiscate my only proof and I will be left with nothing.

The problem is that I don’t know if I boutght a fake watch, or if it was real and the watchmaker swapped some things, and now it is fake, according seller.

Hands 100% too short, the minute hand falls way short IMO. Also the 'Swiss made' at the bottom dosent look right either.

It is 100% fake sir, there was never any part of that genuine, your 'friend' has screwed you over and taken your money.

GMT bezels turn both directions, only Dive watches turn in a single direction.

Sad when this happens, lessons to be learnt, Stick around and read all you can, in the event of finding another watch post a few photos and ask for opinions prior to parting with any cash the road to be taking

This was probably the only way, it's why baseball bats are sold outside of America.

Like others say, your watch is a fake and that applies to the movement, bracelet and case.

Need to explain it to the seller? A real Rolex of that age won‘t have a green sticker on the caseback.

Edit: Just realise that the issue has been solved.
