Stolen Rolex Daytona

Just to inform everyone. I had my Rolex Daytona stolen by a scooter gang in Barcelona. Serial number D676629 116518. Shocking you can't wear nice things anymore. Please be careful everyone.

Sorry to hear :( Anything more to disclose, was the theft day or nighttime? Last few times I visited barcelona I felt perfecty safe wearing my watches, but then I don't walk the streets night time.

My wife and I were aggressively approached in Barcelona last year while walking on a quieter boulevard at apprx 10pm. Invaded personal space and looked angrily at me asking for the time in spanish and tapping at his wrist (as if to say, let me see what you've got on your wrist). I brisk I don't know and speedy walk away had him swearing at us. Was not a pleasant experience. Sorry to hear about your watch.

Stolen Rolex Daytona

Gotta watch your surrounding. It happens. Good thing you’re still alive. Someone was killed over a Rolex watch not too long ago. Be safe

Daytona theft

Hi everyone

Thanks for your replies. To be honest you wear the watch with eyes wide open, you are a target. This theft happened in daylight, about 70 people around me and it was all over in no more than 10 seconds!!!. I was left with a bruised wrist and a very bruised ego as I did not have a chance to beat the guy sensless.
On a positive note I was not stabbed, had acid thrown at me or suffered any other injuries. Have to say my belief in the human race is pretty low at the moment. All of you please keep safe.

Curious as to the reference to 2015. Is there a particular rationale?

That’s unfortunate. Glad you and your wife’s ok.
Barcelona has that rep now. Best just to wear a Swatch or Gshock. And no jewelry and no night walking.

Not only Barcelona, other major cities are facing an increase in petty crime. Heck even the UK's new Home Secretary was mugged by moped thieves a few weeks ago in Central London.

Sorry to hear that, glad you're ok. Barcelona has that rep, had friends that were robbed in broad daylight recently. Not sure if or when it gets better over there.

We all know the reasons of this apparent surge in scooter & motor bike crime in London and I dare say the same goes for Barcelona, but we are not allowed to say so.
We are restricted somewhat in saying our opinions nowadays!

You have to be very careful what you say nowadays, but you can think what you like though (for now). I have to bite my tongue every so often.. However, you can say so much without words, but not online of course..
