Thank you kindly, sir I still can't believe that the OP Boutique offered me the 737 after letting me walk out with the 689 last year.

Back to the 689 though, I find it quite amazing that I haven't seen one appear for sale on Chrono24. Authenticwatches.com advertise one for sale but it's the 'usually ships within 6 months' that tells me they don't even have one to sell.

I think in U.S. pictures were authorized to be released only on Monday 28th. I believe the luminor is ~$18100. Boutique contacted me Monday with that info.

Thanks - still contemplating whether to hold out and trade this off for a WG Daytona (sacrilege!).

I'd wear and enjoy the 737 and wait and see what happens to the WG Daytona at Basel (if anything).

What you do is up to you but what I will say is this: OP Singapore are likely to find out if you flip that watch. They were telling me last month that there are VVIPs who are no longer offered first choice of exclusive references, if at all, because they have abused their privileges by having first pick of the hottest PAMs and then flipping for profit.

Flip if you want but be very careful. I'd suggest selling to a private buyer and avoiding a trader.

Thanks for the tip - though looks like there weren't any takers for the 737 in OP Singapore since it had been on the display for a while, and I'm certainly no VVIP or IP for that matter!

Was actually surprised no one had purchased it prior..

I was in there Saturday and there was a 737 in the window display, bought and paid for. Owner hadn't been in to collect but was happy to allow it to be displayed. Young couple sat next to me asked to see it and she was not happy when told they couldn't have it because it was sold.

I asked if there were any more coming in case I could score one for Brian and I have to check back with the manager next week

Funny that. Authenticwatch also has the same going with 690. When I contacted them I was told they do not have stock but 'should be able to get it in the next 6months'. They've asked me to pay first and if it doesn't come in they will provide refund later.

Yea.... No thanks
