Hi all I will like to try once more and set up a London GTG as having been told the next London GTG is well over due...The last attempt did manage a little interest

So if anybody has an interest in helping me put together a gathering in London on a date that would be convenient for all members to attend plus a suitable venue or venues if a full weekend is possible.?

Sorry Mon I’m confused, he knows I’ve been involved in a couple previously but if there’s another one already planned I’ve not been invited!!

I'm a little concerned that your forum name and some of the stories are not completely truthful and for that reason I will not attend the GTG. Perhaps you can clear up the mystery surrounding your MBE and Title first? I don't mean to offend, but there are enough stories of scammers and tricksters daily.

One GTG was infiltrated by "iwally" a few years ago. He turned out to be a wrong'un

The broad strokes are that he was selling fakes on other websites as original, I am not sure if he tried to trade here on TRF. Even the fake watch society/fan groups were incensed. Some of these pieces were high end and expensive. Rolex and AP IIRC. I dont want to get into specifics but if you do the necessary google searches, you will get some interesting reading.

I can't find you in the House of Lords register. Is your title a manorial one or an inherited one ?
I know how the honour system works. My father has a CBE and my brother in law has an OBE and CMG. Are you entitled to use the "MBE" if it was awarded to your father ?

No we only support maritime charities offering funding & equipment plus training offering our work to The RNLI & Maritime disabled sailing groups around the UK to which we take no publicity or credit for.

I can't find you in the House of Lords register. Is your title a manorial one or an inherited one ?

this is correct I Only hold the Lords Office which is bestowed as Inherited Via The Charter this can be explained in detail if required, So i`m referred as "Lord Of"
The Title would Read Lord of Her Majesty`s Royal Charter of Mariners

I know how the honour system works. My father has a CBE and my brother in law has an OBE and CMG. Are you entitled to use the "MBE" if it was awarded to your father ?

Yes i`m full entitled to use the Order as i was the awarded MBE for my own services to maritime safety. My father was awarded his own Honour for service to maritime safety (Naval) after his passing he was posthumously awarded the CBE.

The Maritime group as we are now known has been referred as The Masons of the sea for many years so most of our work is offered without credit as these where my fathers wishes to which i keep to to this day.

So once again having to defend my corner regarding many years of hard work in making good of our Maritime Trust and titles that have been bestowed upon my father & myself to which is most upsetting so i will once again offer yet another explanation.

We all have worked very hard over many years in building Safety At Sea which helps many maritime charity groups plus fund raising for The RNLI & MCA volunteer support departments within our own SAR (Search And Rescue) Sectors around the UK.

I have personally supported more than fifteen disabled sailing and marine activity charities and support groups, While i Patron four other aided groups across the south within a wide range of maritime activities, Plus offering my services to Marine Development sectors all of the above is given as a non profit service.

This is now the third time i have received very hurtful responses from other members so i feel i would like to retract my offer to put together a London GTG but please feel free to take on the challenge.
