Buying a Hulk or Sky Dweller tomorrow - which would you choose?
I know they're very different watches and look forward to handling them side by side tomorrow.
Hulk is a 2018 and sky Dweller also 2018, stainless steel white dial. Sky Dweller is £1500 more. Which would you buy and why? |

SkyD for me. I dislike the green and find the SkyD with its 2nd time zone and annual calendar to be more useful. The SS white is beautiful.

I really like both, but I think you're getting much more value for your dollar (err...pound) with the Sky Dweller at £1500 more

SD in a heartbeat. Most amazing movement ever, beautiful stance and presence and so versatile. no contest.

Man this is a tough one. My initial gut feel is to get the SD, as its a stunning watch and the features are more useful everyday. I think I would get bored with the Hulk faster then I would SD. Great watches either way. Good luck.

This. The novelty of the green will get old but the annual calendar and 2nd time zone keep on giving. Greater PR too.

The Hulk is my grail watch. It is the one I would buy first. The Sky Dweller is a very clever and beautiful watch. Since I bought my SS black dial one in December I haven't worn another watch - including my Hulk.
But if I owned neither I would still take the LV. What I can't do is tell you what's in your heart. You can't go wrong either way. Congratulations in advance on your superb acquisition. |

I sold the Kermit because I didn't like the green bezel after some time. I replaced it with the Deep blue DSSD JC...so in your case, Sky D no question!!

The "Hulk" has grown on me in the past few years. Shame I didn't pick one up when they were available at a discount from dealer stock.
But, between the two you mentioned, it would be hands down Sky-Dweller all day long. I'm wearing mine today and it is a really beautiful watch. Good luck with your choice. I know you'll get what's best for you.

LVC
I've always thought the SKY-D had a very unconventional dial, centre disc and it's also a bit big. 42mm and 1mm thicker than a sub. But that's just my personal taste. Its an unconventional watch with movement and function to match. Just don't like the dial. |

SkyD easily.. so different to any other Rolex watch and it’s just the best Rolex out there. Remember a hulk is just a sub.. once you’ve worn the SkyD for a few days you will understand!

Depends on your wrist size. SD is a large piece.

Hulk. The hoola hoop ring on the SkyD is a bit ugly to my eyes.
