FUN READ: 1960s Day-Date Booklet

Happy Friday Watch Fam,

I had not come across one of these vintage Day-Date booklets before and now that I have one, it's part of my fun collection and not going anywhere. In short, it's hilarious. Time capsule of 60s-era marketing of our favorite watch brand. The fonts, layout, glued on pictures, heavy stock paper, etc...but of course the verbiage is what is truly entertaining.

I took pictures of each page for your viewing/reading pleasure. Some good quotes in there, :)

Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Very cool. Thanks for sharing. The booklet looks like it's in mint condition. Nice!

You’re welcome Aaron! And yes, booklet is in excellent condition. Glue on the backs of the pictures are nearly 60 years old now so it’s a bit delicate but other than that, a time capsule! (It even smells like the 60s!

Thanks for sharing this, Daniel.

Interesting to see how they "quick-changed" the date in "the olden times."

"Note its rugged masculine appearance . . . " (What - no women allowed? SEXIST 60's!)
