5711R-001 any thoughts

No...not the 5711/1R-001. Everyone know that is hot hot hot. A somewhat forget model on a strap? I hadn't seem many around, and couldn't even find one in our classifieds.
Few appear on other searches.
I know strap versions of most anything in the marketplace are less desirable, but wondered if this is at all sought after?

I ever saw a J version I recalled on strap with I believed a grey dial. Don't recall there's an R version on strap buy I may be wrong.

I will go for the bracelet. Nautilus like Royal Oak should come in a bracelet, regardless of whether in PM or SS. Just my 2 cents.

And yes, I own one.

The 5711J on leather does exist, YG with a silver dial.
Certainly a bit of a rarity by all accounts.

There is also a 5711g. White gold grey dial on strap.

Patek 5711R-001(brown gradient dial with alligator strap) exists. It is a relatively a rare watch but not as sought after as 5711/1R and significantly cheaper than a 5711/1R.

They made 3 versions in the three PM metals in 2006 I think. Prices have moved up on them from £25K 3 years ago to £45K as with the rising tide, but they are still good value comparatively. I liked the J most, the R dial was too grey for me, rather than brown, very similar to the 5712R dial, and not like the 5711/1r.

Patek made 5711J, 5711R and 5711G in 2006. I think those were discontinued after 2-3 years.

I'd love to see it in a strap. Unfortunately would probably never be able to source one at retail. Kind of given up on a nautilus.

5711J, 5711G and 5711R had been discontinued for around 10 years now

I doubt they are very sought after, but I like them a lot. Cool watch, makes the 5711 a bit more dressy.

Almost didn’t get this one when I got “the call” asked my AD to give me til morning to think over.He said to let him know, he would hold it till he heard from me. BTW he assured me it wouldn’t affect our relationship in the least if I decided to pass, he had plenty of other buyers for it. I posted this on TRF asking for opinions - everyone told me I HAD to get it. Boy am I glad I did - it is my very favorite even better than 5990 and white dial 5711. It is just elegant and drop dead gorgeous. My wife made me promise to let her wear it on her birthday( over her sweater b/c it’s too big for her. This piece has to have the solid gold bracelet- it would be sacrilege to put a strap on this work of art ha! Just my opinion but it is great ! james in San Antonio :-)

You could always take out the link for her? Get a kit. It cost like $100 and it takes like 1 min

the R deserves the full bracelet, for sure.
but for those who don't mind the strap version, they are out there...

Awww Ninja , are you crazy? Then she will get attached to it! I have jewelers tools and you are right could change pretty easy but might not be a great idea. I would then have to limp along w my 5711 white dial :-( ha! Thanks
