New arrival, No. 5
So after the 5960, 5726, 7118 & 7010r, this has just landed, the gorgeous 5212a.
Absolutely adore this steel Calatrava with a unique movement the 330 which is yet to serve time in any other watch, I think these are quite special as a result and the dial is a work of art in its own right. Feel very fortunate, have a great weekend all.

Congrats Jacob! The 5212A is by far my favourite Patek so far - it is so wearable and flies under the radar compared to the normal Nautilus series. Swap the strap and it effortlessly switches between casual and the more formal. Mine says hello!

Thanks guys. Wasn't even on my radar until I tried one on at a "roadshow" and instantly appealed.
Went on the list and fortunately was only 10 months of waiting. I was very surprised but delighted to be told it was on the way for me. I'm going to enjoy swapping straps on this as I'm not all that impressed with the factory strap, it feels a few rungs down from from the similar strap on my 5960g oddly. I guess Calatrava watches are somewhat entry level so maybe this is to be expected but it's far from a cheap watch! Interestingly my AD said it was their first in 2022 and only the third since release in 2019 and this isn't a small AD. I wonder if these are really only made on very small quantities? Regards Jacob |

Looks like I'll be receiving mine this week. Unlike you though, this will be my first Patek. Please do share when you have the Delugs strap. I'm looking for options already.

Congratulations! Very cool.
Can one of you 5212 owners answer a question? Is the 5212 an annual calendar? Or do you have to adjust the date wheel only on short months? Everything I read says it’s a “weekly calendar” which I get with the week indicator, but does it adjust the date monthly? |
