Content here is off the charts. I've noticed a high correlation between watch enthusiasts often being auto enthusiasts. My love of cars started as a very small child helping my father build a 13B rotary motor which ended up being my first car as a FD Rx7. Since then my passion has grown and find that I am in a daily autotrader never ending rabbit hole searching for my next project. I've been fortunate to own many amazing cars over the years, including a Murci SV, AM DBS, Aventador, Viper GTS etc etc

The current fleet is comprised of:
2020 g550 aka ice cream truck - Daily driver, first time they made significant changes in the car since 1979. Incredibly aerodynamic with great mpg :p Thinking of wrapping the brush guard black to match the side trim, absolutely love the dark green jade metallic.
2018 Ferrari 488 - track weapon, lowered with full straight pipe exhaust, an absolute blast to drive and could DD it if need
1959 Mercedes 190sl - 0 to 60 in 15 minutes. Breaks down constantly. Overheats. Brakes more skid to a stop than actually come to a stop. Complete nightmare of a car I am constantly fixing and without question it is my absolute favorite. No better cruising car up the coast. My hope soon is to upgrade to a 1957 300sl roadster.

Thinking of upgrading the 488 but not sure where to go from here, also have been looking at DB4s lately. The addiction grows everyday.

I've posted in a few other threads, so nothing new... but even if I were filthy rich, I would still keep and drive this. It's just so manual and visceral. I drive this car, it doesn't drive me. At the same time it also scares the crap out of me.

Nicely modded including a supercharger, engine internals, exhaust, intake, etc..

Love it! Also a unique car on the road and I bet quite the head turner.

Have thought about the newer Evora for future weekend car. I am confident it would be great at Buttonwillow, Thunder hill, but not too sure how enjoyable it would be on long distance road trips with the wife.

I drove the Lotus 1000 miles straight once (solo), but I am a glutton for punishment. I think the Evora would be a bit more comfortable, not sure your wife (or mine) would agree, so I feel ya there.

My God that’s stunning. This sings to my roots. Black or grey interior? Cloth or leather?
