The birthplace of Dr Chris Barnard in Beaufort-West.He did the first heart transplant on the 3rd of December 1967.They have a museum here, dedictaed to him.Pictured are his missionary fathers house and the church.Since this was a public holiday, the museum was closed !!! Due to the nature of my work,I was very interested to see this...... I could have cried !!!
Anyway,will see it next time !! |

CHRIS... absolutely awesome... glad you had a good time
1- you have a gorgeous family... two lovely angels and a beautiful wife.. (make sure you tell them that) 2- i know the feeling about coming back to work... i just got back today.. and all i wated to do was to catch up with mates and go on the forum..... 3- that DVD player in the car (we use it on the plane)... i think it is salvation.. who needs family concelling???.. bought it few year ago and never looked back.. 3- i like them classic cars... 4- you are MR PANERAI... i love the pose during the wedding with the wrist working its way to the chest... i do it all the time... finally.. i am way behind on reading all the posts (i am going through all of these before my 2356 unread emails) |

I think the name Mr Panerai should be reserved for Mr Johann Rupert. If it was not for him, buying the Panerai brand into his Richemont/Vendome stable,Panerai may have gone on into oblivian.Lost.I dont know how many know that. to him !!! BTW,I now found out that those cars I pictured are only those on display at the moment. They get rotated from a pool of around 200 cars in his collection. |
