I'm into Harleys, old school cars, and watches. I dig seeing other people's money pits as much as I like to look at my own. That's all any of it is. Need went out the door in the same sentence as Rolex ages ago... if it ever existed.

Agreed, this is a forum about luxury watches.

You've come to the wrong place for modesty brother.

Cubdrick, you have to see it as introducing a bit of 'variety' into the Forum.
Man cannot live by watches alone.
Some days I like looking at some other bloke's new Lamborghini and other days it's too painful, so I don't.

If people want to post pics of their Rolex with their other possessions, then I'm ok with it. Doesn't hurt my eyes to see that.

If someone thinks it's douchy to do that, then they're entitled to their opinion. I can understand...there are a lot of folks who identify themselves by their material possessions. But, as long the OP doesn't generalize or judge someone just because they took a photo with a luxury item.

Maybe that dude with a Rolex and Ferrari is also a great friend, great father and gives away far money to charities than anyone here will.

No one here seems to be more excited or less excited for someone whether or not they got a new Platona or an old DJ... You got a cool wallet? Awesome! You got your first Rolex? Way more exciting for everyone! No matter what else in in the picture we all know what we're looking at, regardless of your financial lane ;)

Post away with expensive stuff!

We live in a materialistic world, look at Facebook, how much of people's profiles are true I wonder?!

Threads with 'Post your Rolex while putting the bins out' doesn't have the same appeal really.

Wealth doesn't equal happiness (but I guess it can't hurt!, I wouldn't know though :))

There are some really good people on this forum.

I imagine just from some of the good people on here that a lot of them are also very generous with their time and money.

I say that one of the keys to success and happiness is to be happy for the success and happiness of others.

I'm sorry you're intimidated by all the pictures of my Crown Vic. I know, I know. It's such an incredible car for the uber rich, but hey, that's why I have 4. That's just front pocket money.

I don't see any of it as "posing."

This is a fun forum to celebrate great watches and lifestyle.

I worked very hard for everything I have and enjoy seeing others celebrate their success as well.

I wonder what OP expected to find when he joined a forum about Rolex?

I get what you mean. Sometimes it feels like a you know what measuring contest. But keep in mind, this is no different that any other forum luxury or not.

Unfortunately it comes with the territory.

I'll be sure to stop posting luxury items and start posting alternative band options. God forbid you have to visualize the "asthetics"

Don't know how to carry the photo over to my reply, but that is the best photo of the thread.
