Change in Accuracy, Tudor BBB
Since I got it almost a year ago, my ETA Tudor Black Bay was running between +2 spd and +4 spd. In the last couple of weeks it has started to run at between +10 spd and +13 spd. There has been no change whatsoever in my use, I have it in rotation with two other watches, a Datejust and a Grand Seiko. The only difference is that, based on what I had read on this forum, I had let it run down in between uses rather than keeping it on a winder as I had done before. Is there any way that letting it run down has affected the accuracy? I wind it a full 40 turns before wearing it. I really don't feel like spending on service at this time. I just wonder why accuracy would change so suddenly and noticeably.

Could it have gotten magnetized somehow? How old is it? If you go to an independent watchmaker they may just be able to re-regulate it for you??

If it's still under warranty, bring it in to check.

My Tudor BBB was +7-8 when I first received it. I had it demagnetized and now its around +1-2 a day if that. Try that before service as most places will not charge you to do it and its done in a couple of minutes.
