Fortis B-42 Flieger on a new strap

A new TOSHI strap from the talented Richard Beard. Havana leather with dark brown stitching, in case you are wondering...

Cheers

Thanks guys. I have a soft spot for Fortis - this is my third. Many people mistake it for an IWC, probably because of the dial design. The two small arrows on the dial indicate the direction in which to turn the crown to quickset the day and date. The day can be displayed in either German or English, which is nice.

Cheers

Nice watch! I am very tempted by the Fortis range at the moment - love the square chrono in particular but most of their models are great.

Thanks chaps
I love flieger dials, and the split day-date is something a little different.
The A/R coating on crystal makes it simply disappear in some lighting.

Fortis concentrate on pilots (mostly) and divers; a good value range of tool watches.

Rich's custom strap is the finishing touch, although some of the OEMs are nice.

Cheers

Oh I know People have asked me that before when wearing my B-42 Cosmonaut. Would try to get a closer look and see if the crystal was there
