Icon9 Rolex parts ways with old NY dealer

After almost 30 years, Lorilil Jewelers in Forest Hills, NY, a dealer only 10 mins from my house, had their line pulled, including Tudor, due to the changes of the area. According to Rolex the area no longer meets their standards.

It's happening everywhere.

Rolex does require minimum display area embellishments and updates. Also, if a boutique is put in the same market area the AD's there lose their status.

I don’t think so Sam. Don’t worry about it. There are folks who probably didn’t see the first one.

As I understand it - Not much lol -

AD sells Rolex + other brands

Boutique in theory is a storefront/space ONLY for Rolex typically connected to a store thats sells other brands. They do no co-exist in the same physical space/displays.

Time for an AD RIP sticky. Must be about 100 or more since 2010.
