First pair of Maui Jim sunglasses....

I am sort of a sunglasses nut. I am very meticulous with most of my things and can keep glasses for a long time. Some of my pairs are easily over 10yrs old and look new. So I usually buy about one pair per year. Or that's my average I should say. I'm usually an Oakley guy because I'm a "sporty" guy and it fits my lifestyle I guess. Anyway. My friend was telling me for years the polarized Maui Jim's were the best lens on the market. I honestly am a believer now. I walked out of the mall wearing my polarized oakleys , got in the truck and switched to the mauis and could instantly tell the diff in clarity. Check them out if your in the market for a pair.. They come with the soft case also which is about a $25-30 add on if you are buying cheaper glasses usually.

These are the ones http://www.sunglasshut.com/m20/en/us/363004

You should try Revo. I was the same as you with oakley, graduating to Maui Jim and now Revo.

My Revos were about 7-8 years old. Loved them. When I went to replace them it was the first brand I went for. Unfortunately none of them sang to me. That's when I went to the MJ's

I own Maui Jim's, Oakleys, Ray Bans, Prada and Costa's and must say the 580 lens from Costa is the best except for the rubber peeling off:(

I have had Oakleys, ray bans and Revos. I purchased a pair of Maui Jims (Kahunas) and love everything about them. Living in Florida I have always said that you can't skimp on sunglasses and at almost $300 the Kahunas are well worth it.

Congrats.
Like most on TRF,I have many brands and there are a lot of very good ones.
MJ makes great glasses. As a slightly older guy,I appreciate that MJ makes sunglass readers.
They are the only one I know that does!

ESS owned by Oakley makes a pair called CDI that has interchangeable lenses and are damn near bullet proof that they will do prescription lenses for and they look sporty but not too much so. Also Spy makes some great glasses for the $ as does Costa. I own glasses from about every company listed so far in the thread but my spys are my first choice
