A chance to pick this up for a great price...

But I have a 6.5” wrist, and it’s a 44mm. I have never been into Panerais due to their size, but man I love the looks of this watch. Those with Panerais on a smaller wrist, what are your thoughts on sizing and brand in general?

Thanks!

It’s meant to be big and your wrist isn’t too small. I think you will love it.

I have wrist same size as yours, and I am wearing the 47mm carbotech submersible 1616. looks terrific for me. I also tried the smaller size version 42mm 960, but I finally chose the 1616. panerai is meant to be big.

I don't think you will have an issue with size. I like the watch and believe you can own watches of different sizes and appreciate them for what they are.

That’s a really great point

OP, I was a bit worried about how 47mm would look on my wrist (7”) but it’s no problem at all.

If you’re buying a Panerai you expect it to be larger looking in a good way. They aren’t pretending to be dress watches

That said, my 690 Is very comfortable to wear, even more comfortable than larger Rolex models

Ditto.

I comfortably wear 47mm on 6.7 wrist. You'll be fine with 44mm on yours.

Enjoy.

Have 6.5" wrists too, wear a 44mm 1950 Pam. It sure seems big initially but grows on with time.
