In the picture above, there's a big difference between "most valuable" and "most precious." The Optima near the top right was a $10 gift from my 8-year-old son last Christmas. He knows I love watches, and it was at the elementary school holiday bookstore/shop. I do wear it sometimes so he knows I appreciate it. The pocket watches all came from my father, grandfather and great-grandfather, and the tank Girard Perrigaux came down to me from my grandfather as well.

The straps are 1950s Wittnauer and Benrus that my father wore (left top and bottom) and 18K Omega DeVille (middle), which was a gift from my wife before we were married. Those and the aforementioned are all more precious than valuable.

I know the picture's bad, and you might not recognize the others, so I'll name them to make it easier. Breitlings in middle row from left, SS Longitude, TT Crosswind, TT Navitimer Airborne, SS Chronomat 10 Year Anniversary, 18K Chronomat, Aerospace with 24-hour UTC, and SS Premier.

Rolexes on bottom, from left to right, Black and White Daytonas, White Gold DD Meteorite, Milgauss GV, Hulk, TT sub and Sea Dweller. Just realized I forgot to take my Explorer 1 and II out of the winder and add those, but I'm not going through that whole process again. Sorry. Couldn't get 'em all in one picture.

This maybe the first to include pocket watches. Very nice, and to be from father, grandfather, and great grandfather very cool.

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks dddrees.

The fob on one of the sterling pocket watches has an inscription, which reads, "Presented to Mr. David Ritchie by the members of the NESC on the occasion of his marriage. 4/8/96."

That was to my great-grandfather in 1896, in Scotland, before he brought his family to Boston. I've always wondered what NESC stands for. In all the pictures of him in a suit, old or young, he's wearing the watch, that big chain hanging out of the vest pocket. It winds with a little key, and I've always kept the watch in running order since I first received it around 1970.

It's amazing how unpopular the Yachtmaster is. I could be wrong but I only saw 2 others.
