Las Vegas surprise at last Minute / took my Pam 305

Hello everyone, I just thought I would share my surprise trip to Las Vegas for my family to see Beyonce at the MGM Grand this weekend and more importantly for me to go and shop for watches.
Well since it was my birthday this weekend, I told my family that we were all going to an early dinner, but first we had to go pick up my brother at the air port who was here on a lay-over. When we got to the airport, I didn't realize how hard it was to get everyone out of the car to wait for him by the baggage claim (bad cover story) after some yelling, they all agree to wait at starbucks. I had pre-printed the tickets the night before and once in the airport I told them that we were flying to another city to have dinner and that they had to not look at their tickets until we got to the gate. Well the TSA guy almost ruined that, when he asked for everyones ID and tickets, he started to say something about Vegas and I let him in on our little deal.
We sat at wolf gang pucks restaurant until time to board and when they saw Las Vegas, they were happy it was the place and mad that they didn't have any clothes. So I politely announced that everyone will get a mini shopping spree to dress for the Beyonce concert, my kids had tickets for the stage pit right up front and tears started to flow and it felt like I had won husband of the year and Dad of the year awards on the same day.

Well here are some pictures. An of course I had to go to the Panerai boutique
I was also able to try on the Platinum Daytona.

It was awesome, my birthday was complete because my family was all together and happy. I just have one regret about the trip and that was the shopping spree because my family only shopped at LV, Tom Ford and you get the picture. I could have brought a TT rolex for what I spent on clothes.

P.S. Thanks again for your post of your old 305, it helped me make up my mind to buy my 305.

Very nice. Logistically difficult to plan I bet. I know I could never pull that off with my family so I'd probably just fly myself there and use the savings to pick up another watch.

Thank you, I took a lot of photos, but most included my family and as a rule, I don't post their pictures.

Actually the traveling wasn't that difficult at all, since we are in California, Vegas is only a 1 hour 15 minute flight for us and we regularly take day flights as a family on weekends as long as the flights are under 2 hours. The only bad part in planning something like this is guessing what the ladies would need and I will admit that I totally under estimated what the ladies needed, so when I gave them the credit card to go and get toiletries, ( I was thinking tooth brush, tooth paste, deodorant and etc. ) I forgot about make-up cost and anything else that they use to get ready in the morning. Even with that cost, the surprise was well worth it and I still manage to order a watch for X mas. Incoming after xmas

I bought my Pan in that same boutique at Caesars. Great experience. Joseph was very helpful and knowledgeable. What a great treat for you and for your family.
